Canaccord Genuity is Canada’s leading independent Investment Bank and Financial Services firm with an increasing global footprint. The firm works in two distinct business areas, Wealth Management and Global Capital Markets, building wealth for individuals and growing value for businesses around the world.  Despite years of steady progress in becoming a unified culture, Canaccord Genuity’s current branding wasn’t properly expressing what was happening inside the firm. There was an unbalanced perception as to what the brand stood for and issues with the hierarchy of the name. Canaccord Genuity approached us at this pivotal moment to create a new brand identity that employees and clients could rally around globally.



After a deep discovery process where we interviewed key stakeholders and employees across CG’s global offices, a common theme rose to the top. Canaccord Genuity is driven every day to find ways to help clients succeed. This drive is universally shared by employees. It fuels every aspect of the business. It is the key differentiator in their approach.

We created a new logo, tagline, and a complete set of brand identity materials including business cards, letterhead, folders, envelopes, templates collateral, print ads and an anthem video for the brand relaunch.  Feedback from employees, clients and shareholders was overwhelmingly positive.



* A road show was created for the CEO to deliver the new brand to CG leaders across the globe.

* Brand was successfully launched in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

* Company was so pleased with new brand it took out full page ads in Toronto and Vancouver to celebrate it.
